Somatic Channeling is a channeled energy work modality, a mystical art, an integrative healing practice, and a transformative tool for growth and expansion that brings cohesion to our emotional, physical, energetic and mental bodies.
Closely connected to a Tantric practice called Latihan (channeled, surrendered movement), Somatic Channeling triggers automatic movements, yogic postures and mudras in both practitioner and receiver. This directs the flow of energy through the physical and subtle bodies, becoming precise and elegant energy work.
Somatic Channeling catalyzes various forms of emotional, psycho-spiritual and physical processing. It is a deeply feminine / yin-based practice, rooted in trust and surrender to the body, often bypassing the rational mind.
Sharing similarities to modalities such as Pranic Healing, Spinal Energetics, Classical Tantra, Qigong, Kundalini yoga, Yin Yoga, Chinese Medicine, and more - this practice does not derive itself from these modalities but instead, is a pure wellspring of technique, movement and direct connection that resembles qualities of many practices.
Somatic Channeling allows for the uncovering of rigid or stuck emotional patterns and wounds, deep trauma, and various blockages and "knots" in the energy field that, when unraveled through the modality, can cause deep release, expansion of the chakra system and balance in the entire system. It also awakens us to transpersonal and spiritual dimensions of Self not only through trauma release, but attunment to higher frequencies and realms of experiences that live beyond the ego identity patterns of self.
